The BSV holds the private collection of Sem. Aaron Veloso: about 3000 volumes and 30 linear meters of archival material. The library specializes on hagiography, church history, liturgy, and consecrated life. The BSV may be accessed by the public upon special arrangement with the Prefect and only in extraordinary cases.
